HEALTH AND DENTAL COSMETOLOGY

Medicine and Cosmetic Dentistry are among the scientific branches of greatest evolution in the past 15 years. Composed of GPs, dentists, speech and physical therapists, biochemists and acupuncturists, our team has accompanied this progress using state-of-the-art computers, trying to specialize in advanced technologies and to develop a multidisciplinary work aimed at offering the best for the patient's oral as well as facial look, function and health.

Digital Technology and Biochemistry
The use of digital technology, which enables the patient to preview the finalized treatment, and of biochemistry is extremely important for the accurate diagnosis of problems related to oral and facial diseases and look. After all, precocious ageing and displaced, stained teeth or unsatisfactory restorations don't correspond to our concept of good health.

Natural and Complementary Therapies
Our practice include the referred to therapies, because we understand they are important allies in the prevention and in the treatment of systemic and organic diseases, which may reflect oral/facial  problems or vice versa.

Biochemical and hematological Monitoring of the physical condition
With the holistic treatment of patients as a goal our Center for Oral Restoration joined Biochemistry and Sport to apply the methodology created by Prof. Alexandre Cosendey (Monitoring of the Physical Condition).

This in Brazil pioneering method was used to support the preparation of most Brazilian athletes who took part in Winnipeg's Pan-American Games 1999 and in Sidney's Olympic Games 2000.

To use this modern monitoring process enables:
- To follow up the physical effects of workloads for high performance trainings or those of stress caused by daily (both physical and intellectual) activities.

- To know the individual maximum effort that heart, muscles, bones and other organs can bear in the referred to circumstances.

- To detect organic dysfunctions, intoxications and pathologies soon enough to prevent future diseases from worsening or develop.

- To point out important alterations of the organism's defense system caused by infections, which are frequently generated by dental focuses, often imperceptible. This early diagnosis is vital, specially when treating patients with complaints of recurrent tendonitis or with bone, joint, kidney or heart problems.

Finally, Biochemists specialized in sport as well as general practitioners, dentists, physical therapists, nutritionists, and physical educators use the Monitoring method to correct physiological alterations found in their patients with greater reliability.
